Superframe is pleased to announce a new initiative that directly supports artists with framing for exhibitions. This $10,000 framing fund is to support selected artists with upcoming exhibitions. Successful recipients will receive
up to $2000 to use toward framing their exhibition.
Submission Guidelines:
To be eligible, artists must have a confirmed exhibition at an artist run center, public institution or commercial gallery that is at least eight weeks away and that requires assistance in framing or presenting. All artists are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Next Deadline November 1st 2019
May 1st 2020 (TBD)
Submission Requirements:
Please include the following in one email sent to awards@superframe.ca under the subject heading
“Superframe Framing Award 2019”
CV (2 pages maximum)
Artist statement and project/exhibition description
(500 words or less) *Please include framing needs
and plans. Proposals may include unconventional
or unique framing requestsUp to 10 images. Works included should be for exhibition or images of work directly related to the proposal. (Formatted as JPEG, maximum 1 MB and titled as follows: “01_ArtistName_Title_2019) Applicants should also include a corresponding image list with titles, dates, medium and dimensions.

Selection Process:
All submissions will be reviewed by the Superframe award committee. All decisions are final. Selected artists will acknowledge the support of Superframe in the exhibition.
